Memorial Day is a day in which we honor and remember those who have died in armed forces. This year, the day falls on Monday, May 29. In remembering those who have passed in armed forces, we all get together on the weekend before the day to celebrate.
There are many activities and events that will be going on throughout Northern Colorado this weekend. We have put together a list of the different events occurring throughout the weekend that are both fun and also honor those who have served our country.

16th Annual Realities Ride & Rally
On Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th, the Annual Realities Ride & Rally 2 day festival will take place in downtown Fort Collins at the Civic Center Park. The festival is a free community event and offers something for everyone.
For this event, the biking community gets together and honors all Americans who have served in the military service for our freedom. The soldiers’ sacrifice is honored by what is called the “freedom of the ride” and brings people together for the cause of bringing hope to the children in the community who have been abused and neglected.
An event with a notable cause – it still features fun events for both children and adults, including a beer garden, food vendors and a kid’s zone which features a bungee trampoline.
The event begins at 8 AM on Saturday, May 27 and ends the following Sunday after the last event at 5 PM. Visit the event website for the full schedule.
