It’s almost that time again to bring in the new year – only 2 more until days until New Year’s Eve! Let’s just hope that 2017 goes better than 2016. Do you know what you’ll be doing to welcome the new year? If not that’s okay. We have put a list together of different event happening throughout Northern Colorado below.
First Night Fort Collins
When: Saturday, December 31, 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Where: Downtown Fort Collins
A non-alcoholic family friendly event, First Night Fort Collins is a sure way to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The event’s theme this year is “Winter Wonderland” and offers much entertainment for the family. You all can enjoy international dance, comedy, live theater, magic shows and a lot more! The kids should have a blast as there will be a “bounceland” with large inflatables, face painters and more.

Jax Fish House New Year’s Eve
When: Saturday, December 31, 4 PM -11 PM
Where: Jax Fish House, 123 N. College Ave., Fort Collins
Jax Fish House will be offering a three course prix fixe menu this New Year’s Eve. The cost to attend the event is $50 and also includes a la carte options, a raw bar and wine pairings throughout the night. If you haven’t already set a reservation, we highly recommend you do. Garden of Lights
When: Saturday, December 31, 5 PM – 9 PM
Where: The Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Ave., Fort Collins
Wander through a wonderland of twinkling lights at the annual Garden of Lights at the Gardens on Springs Creek. While there is no cost of admission, a $5 donation per adult and $2 donation per child is suggested.
An Epic Night to Remember at Fusion
When: Saturday, December 31, Begins at 7 PM
Where: Fusion Night Club, 351 Linden St., Fort Collins
Du’ Tell Events and Fusion Night Club invites you to celebrate New Years Eve with an open bar, live music, dancing, hors d’ oeuvres, photo booth, party favors, a balloon drop and a champagne toast at midnight. Dress to impress. Tickets are $60 per person or $100 per couple. Buy your tickets on the company website.
New Year’s Eve at License No. 1
When: Saturday, December 31, 7 PM – 2 AM
Where: License No. 1, 2115 13th St., Boulder
This is a great place to go if you are trying to party your way into 2017. The event will include shot and drink specials, a free photo booth, and complimentary appetizers. You can even take home a complimentary License No. 1 shot glass. The event is 21+ and costs $27.50 a person. You can even buy your tickets here.
When: Saturday, December 31, 5 PM – 2 AM (times vary)
Where: Hotel Boulderado, 2115 13th St, Boulder
Much like the event above, this is one to go to if you want to party. Located at Hotel Boulderado, there will be a total of five parties under one roof. Take a pick of which party you would like to go to at the Boulderado website. Prices vary from $25 – $145 but you can go to the Corner Bar from 5 PM – 8 PM for free.
New Year’s Eve at Loveland Laser Tag
When: Saturday, December 31, 9 PM – 7 AM
Where: Loveland Laser Tag, 401 Denver Ave., Loveland
Looking to have some different kind of fun for New Year’s Eve? Try your hand at laser tag this New Year’s Eve, with Loveland Laser Tag’s New Year’s Eve lock-in, which will include all attractions, a full dinner buffet, a non-alcoholic sparkling cider toast at midnight and more. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door.
