Schraders Grand Prix 2019 – Saturday, May 25

“Live free, trike hard.” That’s our motto for our Schraders Grand Prix event, an annual tricycle race fundraiser that takes place on Saturday afternoon during the Realities Ride and Rally festival.

Now in its seventh year, the 2019 Schraders Grand Prix is scheduled for Saturday, May 25, from 1-4 p.m. in Washington Park. Come share in the excitement and enjoy a day of fun and competition while supporting Realities for Children and the youth it serves.

We are in need of riders to complete our trike race bracket board! For those interested, please visit our website to learn more. Generous sponsors have donated teams, so we just need riders to round out the weekend’s festivities.

Thanks to a full event lineup Realities for Children has put together, there is something for everyone over this Memorial Day weekend, May 25-26.

Get patriotic with Fort Collins’s first skydiving presentation of colors and the National Anthem as well as a patriotic performance by the Denver Dolls USO Troop. Enjoy fireworks, a Pin-Up Contest, free apple pie, and a military salute and flag signing for a flag being sent to Afghanistan to Fort Carson’s 4th Infantry Division.

Family activities include the Street Cowboy motorcycle stunt shows, Webbs Colorfest Tattoo contest, and Bikers Choice Invitational Car Show.

Great music will also be available as the free lineup celebrates Colorado’s best tribute bands with tributes to Ozzy Osbourne, The Who, The Eagles and Van Halen.

Riders are encouraged to join the world’s largest motorcycle poker run and ride to support children in need. Preregister online, and the first 500 get a free Realities Ride and Rally T-shirt.

It’s going to be a great weekend, so join us in aiding our youth to become the best possible assets for our community’s future.
